Be Fruitful! Reign!! Multiply
Then God said, “Let us make human beings[b] in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth,[c] and the small animals that scurry along the ground.
Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”
Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. 30 And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—everything that has life.” And that is what happened: Genesis 1: 26,28,29 (NLT)
Hello fellow Marketplace Apostles/Minister,
How are you doing? How is it going in the marketplace? Are you struggling in your career or are you having a good ride and soaring high?
Are you activating your faith at work or still struggling with the world and its encumbrance?
Well I have good news for you! We are here to help your light so Shine. It’s about to get LIT in the marketplace (Matt 5:14- You are the light of the world)
Have you ever considered yourself as a minister of God or His representative in the marketplace? If you are like me, who just went about doing my work and earning a salary until I encountered the spirit of God right in the marketplace and received a deep revelation of who I am and the purpose I have been called to, then you are about to experience a shift in your calling in the marketplace.
Genesis 1: 26 tells us that we were predestinated to reign and take dominion. A lot of us do not understand the extent of our reign; it states that we reign in the sky, sea, the land – over all the earth.
I am speaking in tongues and bursting with excitement, just by realizing the extent of my reign on earth…. Wow!!!! The child of the king is a prince and he takes dominion over his father’s domain everywhere he goes!!
There is an interesting revelation in Genesis 1:27. The bible says that God blessed them! Please did I read right, THEM! At this time of reference, Adam was the only man up and about at this time but God blessed THEM- You and I! Hallelujah…..
Now to the real juice, In Genesis 2: 8 God planted a garden in Eden in the east and there He placed the man He had made. The objective of placing man in the Garden was to tend and watch over it! (Genesis 2: 15)
Fun fact- The Garden was in Eden- the place where it was planted, and no the Garden is not called Eden: We call it Garden of Eden like Tolulope of the Nations J)
Marketplace apostles have been placed in the Garden today (Workplace) to tend and watch over it, to reign and have dominion over it, and God placed a blessing over the work when He said – Be fruitful and multiply!
It was God’s predestination that you should be fruitful and multiply but it is your mandate to fulfil the destiny as such!
God is calling us to steward our blessing and great callings to the ends of the earth. Our calling is beyond the church building, it cuts across the secular world.
An anointing is being released to people with secular jobs so that they can bring God a harvest just as great and potentially many times greater than those in the church ministry (-Shawn Bolz)
Let’s conclude this by sharing some nuggets that you would need on your journey in the marketplace:
- Develop a real covenant relationship with the Father
- Know who you are and whose you are- Discover purpose and understand your season
- Map out your territory and goals per season
- Steward your gifts, Keep at it, Develop your skills & Know your worth
- Be intentional about shining the light where ever you find yourself
I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom[f] and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.[g] Ephesians 1: 17
